Whether you're driving a pristine classic, a heavily modified track weapon, or a clean street daily, the SubiNats Roo Racing Show & Shine is your chance to be part of the ultimate Subaru community display at Sydney Motorsport Park. This year, we are offering two distinct ways to showcase your build:

Show & Shine Display Only Entry

Bring your Subaru down to line up in our dedicated model groupings alongside hundreds of fellow enthusiasts. There is no judging pressure and no labels—just pure passion for the boxer badge. 

Elite Judged Entry  – Capped at 50 Spots Only!

Got a build that deserves the ultimate recognition? Step up to the revamped Elite Judging tier. This premium registration allows your car to be eligible for judging and unlocks an exclusive display position right in the heart of the action—located inside the main SMSP pit area directly behind pit lane, right amongst the industry traders in Auto Avenue. Category specific judges will be awarding 1st and 2nd place prizes in 5 categories with an overall Best in Show award.

Elite Judging Categories and Criteria

Best in Show
Awarded to the vehicle with the highest combined score across all judging categories. There is no separate criteria — this award reflects overall consistency and quality across interior, exterior, engine bay, and build execution.

Best Interior
Judged on the condition and quality of interior materials, any custom upholstery or seating, clean integration of electronics and gauges, and overall cabin cleanliness.

Best Exterior
Judged on paint depth and clarity, panel gap alignment, wrap precision (if applicable), custom aerodynamic fabrication, and overall fitment quality.

Best Engine Bay
Judged on the cleanliness and presentation of the engine bay, including wire and hose tucking, polishing or powder coating, and the quality of any performance plumbing.

Best OEM / Restomod
Awarded for factory-correct precision, accurate historical restoration, or high-spec builds featuring rare original factory parts.

Best Custom Build / "Built Not Bought"
Awarded for custom structural fabrication, unique engine conversions, original engineering solutions, and overall garage-built craftsmanship.

Timing and Logistics

SPEND THE DAY AT PRO SPEED RACING SUBINATS!

This year, the SubiNats Roo Racing Show & Shine display will be held throughout the day, commencing with bump in from 7:30-9:30 and cars on display until 4:00pm, when all entrants have the opportunity to participate in the 400+ car parade lap and main straight photo. Judging of the Elite entrants will be concluded by 3:00pm with presentations being held prior to the Parade Lap.

BUMP IN

When you arrive at Gate A, follow the driveway and keep to the left. You will likely need to line up. Meet the marshal to check in and receive your exclusive entrant sticker. You will either receive a sticker for the Show & Shine Display and be directed to the Figure 8 skid circuit or a sticker for Elite Judged Display and be directed to the Auto Avenue area.

In the Show & Shine Display area, there will be various model flags. Please proceed around the figure 8, following instructions from any marshals and park your car in the right section! If you have a particular specialty group who would like to display together, please get in touch with our team at info@subinats.com.au to discuss.

If you have purchased an exclusive competitor t-shirt, you will need to collect this from the SubiNats Info Stand sometime throughout the day.

ON TRACK PARADE LAP

Following the Show & Shine, we would love all participants to join us for a parade lap and an all-Subaru main straight photo - with likely around 400 Subarus! All Show & Shine cars will file off to complete the parade lap with the other competitors at the conclusion of the presentations. 

To be eligible to participate, you MUST visit the SubiNats Info Stand during the day to sign a disclaimer and receive your wristband. PASSENGERS ARE WELCOME! If you'd like your mates to come along on the parade lap, please make sure they also visit the stand and get their passenger wristband.

This event is also the ideal opportunity for photographers and social media influencers to make new content and connections. Media passes are available, if you wish to take photos or video and interview people.Please click here to register if you are interested.

At the conclusion of the Parade Lap, all Show & Shine entrants are welcome to park on the Skid Pan for the evening, so they can watch the Roll Racing event.
